Special interests pervade every aspect of our government and unfortunately, citizens are often thought of as simply unimportant pawns in this process.  Health care is one of the most controversial subjects in modern policy debate and has a plethora of special interests seeking to influence reform or stop it dead in its tracks.  As citizens, we must stay aware of these issues and realize that every policy maker and organization has their own motivations for pushing certain reforms- most of which are not admirable or in the public’s best interest.

This blog attempts to empower the ordinary American and  give them a better understanding of an extremely important issue in a system of government that often goes unchecked due to the lack of information.
